?Hello dear host family!
My name is Samia, I am 19 years old, I am Ecuadorian, specifically from the city of Otavalo, a city rich in indigenous culture, of which I am deeply proud.

I come from a large and united family, where I have learned the importance of mutual support. I live with my parents and my five siblings. I have the ability to speak two languages (Spanish and Kichwa) which are my mother tongues, I have also acquired a basic level of English, and I am excited to improve and immerse myself in the language.

I chose to be an au pair in the United States because I am passionate about traveling, exploring new cultures and traditions, as well as improving my English skills and developing my personal independence. In recent years, I have had the opportunity to take care of children, enjoying every moment I share with them. It is an experience that I value greatly and has positively influenced my personal development.

My experience taking care of children has been amazing. I have learned a lot from them, especially to be more patient and understanding. I enjoy helping them with their homework, taking them to play, preparing food or snacks, helping them with personal hygiene such as showering and brushing their teeth, and establishing daily routines adapted to each child's needs.

In addition to taking care of other children, I have also taken care of my brother since he was 3 years old, which has given me even more experience and learning. Also, I really enjoy being a teacher of children at church during vacation schools, as I love spending time with them and contributing to their learning. Babysitting has been a beautiful experience for me, where I have grown personally.

I am excited about the possibility of sharing my culture with you and learning from your lifestyle. My goal is not only to be a reliable help in caring for your children, but also to be a big sister and friend to them during our time together.
I look forward to the possibility of getting to know each other and sharing this wonderful experience together.
