Italian 21 year old AuPair, fluent in English, looking for a french family to start working with in february:)
Hi! I'm Sofi, I'm 21 years old and I would love to start this experience with you as a way to learn more about each other cultures and to learn a new language! I love kids, I have two younger siblings, I've worked in the kids' club of an hotel in Egypt for six months between 2019 and 2020, afterwards I worked as an AuPair in a family with four kids (4,6,9,11) in Germany fom August 2020 to October 2021. Currently I´m working as an AuPair in Spain, also in a family with 4 children (triplets that are 6 years old and a 2 year old baby). I love learning languages and my last stop before starting University is France!
This would be my third time working as an Au Pair, my goal is to learn French to a C1 level, all while growing a strong bond with the family that would be willing to host me, getting to know their culture and discover the place where they live in!
As I said before, I have two younger siblings. I've always had to take care of them in order to help my mom at home, whether it was playing with them, pick them up from school or supervise them while they did their homework.
Again, as I have already said, I worked in a kids' club. There we played all day long with kids from 3/4 to 12 years old. Every day we had a different activity: free games, making salt dough, dressing up, making pizza, going on a treasure hunt, doing face painting (which I'm not the best at, but I'm working on it ahah) and also making crafts. Every afternoon we would take them either to the beach or to the pool.
I've had kids of multiple nationalities and I've always managed to build a pretty good relationship with all of them, even if we weren't able to understand each other, causing a lot of sadness when it was time for them to go home!
During my AuPair years I got the kids ready for school, brought them and picked them up from it and took them to their various clubs or activities they had planned, I showered them, sometimes cooked for them, played with and read to them.
