I am a very happy, responsible, affectionate, educated and fun girl. I am a bit of a perfectionist in some aspects and I consider myself an adventurous and courageous person. Also, I am very hard-working.
Dear family, I am Aitana, a 20-year-old girl who lives in a town in Alicante. This year I have decided that I want to improve my English and therefore I would like to participate as an au pair somewhere in the world and thus add a new experience to my life. It is the first time that I work as an au pair, however, I really want it and I am very good with children, so I am very excited to start this adventure.
I have no experience in caring for children as such, however, when I was in 3rd grade, I signed up as a volunteer to help younger children do their homework. I have also looked after the small children of my parents' friends when we have had lunches and dinners.
My native language is Spanish. As for English, I've been in an academy since I was 13 until a couple of years ago. I have a B1 level of English certified by Cambridge. My goal is to learn and be able to take the exam to obtain the B2 when I return to Spain. I have studied French at school but I do not have a good level, I would like to be able to learn it too. I am very good at languages and therefore, in the future, I want to learn to speak German, Chinese and Italian as well.
I want to be an Au Pair because one of the things I like the most is traveling and meeting different people, places, cultures and of course languages, and this program is available to people like me who want to learn and grow as people in experiences as fantastic as that of babysitting.
My goals as an au pair are mainly to learn and get to know new places, people and cultures. I want to improve my English so I would like to live with an English speaking family, although I do not mind adapting to any other secondary language that they can speak. I would like to live with a fun, adventurous, friendly family and take care of children who like to play, have fun and learn a lot.
