I'm a 22 year old Ethiopian girl who is currently taking a break from college. I am very energetic and curious by nature. I love children and they love me too. That is why I want to join the au pair program, so I can learn about new cultures and get to work with children.

I'm a 22 year old student from Ethiopia. I have completed my 3rd year of Biomedical Engineering study in Addis Ababa Institute of Technology.
I have spent a lot of my time babysitting and caring for my nieces and my neighbors' kids. We usually did fun activities like playing football, watching kids shows, singing together, reading books and playing board games. During the time I spent with my nieces I have learned both physical and psychological work it takes to care for children. I used to do basic chores like making bottles, cooking simple meals, changing diapers, bathing and clothing them and so much more. As I spent more time with them I was able to learn how to communicate with young children and how to understand their behaviors and actions as well as how to tend to their wants and needs sooner.
I am a very friendly, patient, energetic and curious person in nature. I love learning new things, I thought myself how to cook, sew, bake and do DIY projects using the internet. I am currently learning German and Spanish courses and have a plan to enroll in a driver's ed class to get my driver's license. I don't smoke or drink, and I am vaccinated and ready to travel anywhere.
