My name is Kim, I have been working with children for over 10 years. I began working as a childminder/nanny at 18, and have continued to work with children and families since this time.

I have always been interested in working in Canada since before I even visited the beautiful country in 2018.
I am at a time in my life whereby I have no commitments and a wealth of experience. Thus, an Au Pair position with a hosting family is the perfect opportunity for me to immerse myself in Canadian culture.

I have experience playing, and caring for children of various ages from babies up to 18+, and I have supported them with their physical and emotional development.

I have worked with people of different ethnic and religious backgrounds, and I am very respectful and accommodating to the needs of the individual families I work work with.

I have a psychology degree, and an understanding of child development and the importance of a warm, accepting, playful approach to caring for children.

I have also trained as a social worker to Masters level, although I feel like the profession is not for me at this time in my life. You can be sure that your children are in safe hands, and will be with a woman who is responsible and caring in the home and the community.

I wish to cultivate my experiences and the knowledge I have from my education to build upon them by exploring life abroad where I can gain additional skills, meet new people, and build on my personal and professional experiences.
