Argentinean, looking for my 4th host family! I've been auparing with 3 families for 20 months while traveling around 6 countries in EU.
I am 19 years old, currently living in Kingston upon Thames, UK, au paring for my 3erd family. I was born in Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina on June 20th, 2002. I left home immediately I finished high school (Feb 2020) for my first au pair experience abroad..
I've been working as an Aupair for www.aupairworld.com since Feb 2020 to Dec 2020. Then, I joined www.worldpackers.com to keep traveling, improving my languages, meeting new people and cultures. I´ve volunteering at 3 Hostels in Lisbon, PORTUGAL and Zagreb, CROATIA Dec 2020 to April 2021.
With my first host family (they are French with 2 Canadian baby kids 1 and 2 yo) I lived in Germany and Scotland, full lock down with both kids at home (no school at all). I was alone with the kids (24/7)…that really gave me a huge experience!!!
With my next host family (they are South Africans with 2 kids too but 2 and 4 yo) we were 2 months in UK and in Portugal for 3 months, where both go to school half day. While living in Ascot, just the older kid went to School for 4 hours so I spent most part of the day just with the small one (going to park, playing outside, going to the neighbors'). Then, in Cascaes, I woke them up at 7.30 and prepared both to school at 9.30... When they came back home, we played and spent time together... I helped cooking light dinner, housekeeping, ironing, buying groceries, whatever needed! I had the unforgettable opportunity to catch a flight -London to Lisbon- just by myself and the kids, and spend 1 week alone with them, while my host parents where full working in UK. They went back home on December 2020 so I decided to keep traveling around Europe instead of moving to South Africa.
I am currently Au Paring for my third host family in London; I am looking after 3 kids (13 yo girl and 7 and 10 yo boys); my host dad works in another city so he is at home only on weekends, meaning I spend all the week alone with my host mum. Since they are older, our daily routine is very different, I drop them off and pick them up from school and also take them to their different activities during the week. I cook dinner every day and help with light housework, get them ready for school and do bedtime a few days per week. I have plenty of free time so I am doing babysitting for other families in the mornings; I am working as a waitress at a Pub on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday evenings. Love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
