I'm a serene person, adventurous, serious, responsible in commitments I make, I'm a little shy, but that does not prevent me from having a social circle. I tend to be a kind person, persistent but not resilient. I am friendly and open-minded.
I have been taking care of children for a long time, when I arrived in Bogota my first jobs were in family homes taking care of children for 2 years with 3 families, and since I was little I had to take care of my 2 siblings after me, then I was living with an aunt who had a garden and had to help him every day morning and afternoon, then I went to live with my grandparents and also took care of my Cousins for 3 years at times, since I was the oldest of them all. In recent years the child was cared for by a friend who worked on weekends and also by the nephews of a classmate who lived nearby.
These last months I have been looking after my 8-year-old nephew because his parents work.
Now I am not studying, I have a technician in agricultural industry that I did in the college after I finished high school I did a technician in food industry, a technician in auxiliary bank, then I did 2 semesters of public accounting but I ended the employment contract and could not pay the rest of the career so I did a technology in accounting and finance to then homologate in the university but for all that happened at the beginning of the year because of the pandemic I decided Postpone.
I have worked 2 years full time childcare, then I worked 1 year in a small advertising company as a file assistant, then I worked 1 year in 3 restaurants as a waitress, then I worked 2 years in a geriatric home caring for elderly adults. And last year I worked as an accounting assistant in a communications company.
I want to be an au pair because I like spending time with children, I want to know other countries, cultures and learn from them. And because it is a means to be able to fulfill my plans: I would like to continue studying after the au pair year, I plan to do a year of volunteering and maybe then I can do an apprenticeship.
