Hello! My name is Bea, and am from Montreal, though I've been living in British Columbia, Canada for 4 years. I recently finished a liberal arts undergraduate degree, where I had a study focus on math and education.

When I work with kids, my goal is to create a positive and safe environment, where we can play and learn together. I'm currently studying to become a math and science teacher, and would love to create hands-on learning spaces and opportunities for kids of all ages. I have several references and have worked with kids 3mo-11 years.

I've spent previous summers running STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) summer camps for kids ages 9-13, and have worked at sleep-away camps for teenagers. I've tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in math and French, and worked at my university's tutoring center. I love working on art projects with what I call “secret math”, as well as building structures and going on outdoor adventures.
