I am a former teacher currently working as a nanny for a family with two children ages 1 and 3. I started working for them when the youngest was only 5 months old so I do have experience with infants, though I prefer working with 6 months and older. I taught Spanish for 5 years, working with children from the ages of 4-17 and discovered I loved interacting with the little ones most of all.

I am calm, caring, and confident, and would love the opportunity to leave the United States for a while. With my teaching experience and bilingualism (Spanish and English), I can provide homework help to children when needed. I am also confident in the kitchen and can cook healthy, balanced meals. Safety has always been my top priority as long as I have worked with children, and I take pride in my ability to coach kids toward healthy and safe living while also encouraging them to take risks and learn from mistakes.
I lived in Spain during a study abroad trip as part of my undergraduate education and I fell in love with this beautiful country. I have always wanted to return, but never had the chance. If you choose me as your au pair, I will arrive with an open mind and an open heart, eager to support your family and learn and practice more of the Spanish language.
