Dear family
My name is Stephane, I am 25 years old and I'm from Ibague Colombia, I'm Psychologist, I really love my occupation. Through this I wish to show you the most important aspects about me.
I'm an easygoing person, very kind, and thoughtful, I like to help people and hard work. I consider myself responsible, creative, happy and funny woman; I'm really lovely with kids, also I enjoy make them hairstyles, play and help them with their homework.
My family is very small, my mother, she is a kind woman, my father, he's an outgoing person, and my Granma who is one of the most important people in my life, she is very serious but I love her, actually I live with my granny. my parents live in other houses because of my mom have to take care a farm and my father live with my father's mother, however we have a good relationship, I love my parents so much.
As mentioned before I am a professional in psychology, I love to learn, therefore I've done a lot of courses, one of this ones is about first aid, human pedagogy and introduction to pedagogical processes.
As to my experience in child care, I was a volunteer in my church five hours per week for four years, looking after children from three to six years. In this time I learned about love and compassion for children, enjoy tiny things and grateful. During my volunteer time I focused in child development; physic, mind, emotional and social. We usually had storytelling, do obstacle race, painting time, play with toys, singing time, puppetry time, role-playing, play telephone game, rolling a ball back and putting on a costume. During this time I loved made games to improve themselves like memorize songs, puzzles, dances and censorial games etc.
Currently I'm working full time as a nanny with a beautiful baby of fifteen months, and her older brother of 10 years. I get along with the whole family, we always communicating when something that don't like happened. I've been loving this part of my life. I have to get bath, do breakfasts, changing, take walks, and feed her, usually we play soccer, rolling a ball back, dancing, cooking, drawing and painting, making crafts, riding bike and tricycle, sing songs in English and walking around her neighborhood.
I'd really like to spend my au pair year learning about your culture and improve my English with your children, I'm sure we will get along and have fun. I consider that this time will be a great opportunity to improve my language skills while looking after your children, since I want to improve my professional skills and also my Curriculum Vitae.
I expect to take a good year as an au pair, I want to improve my English I mean to be fluent in English and could show you about my country and my native language. If you allow me I share whole my love with your children, I will be happy to play a lot and help your children to improve themselves, also I'll love to know more about your culture, typical dishes and festivities.
