I'm a licensed teacher in the Philippines, experienced baby sitting and trained to do some light household chores.
Good day! I am Clarisse Danielle Junio, 25 years old. I am a licensed Professional Teacher and currently working as a teacher in the Philippines, handling students with different cultural backgrounds. I have been teaching for about 3 years and through this great experience, my life evolved around educating children, building good relationship with them, and shaping their character.
As an elder sister to my two younger siblings, sometimes when my mother is busy from work, I usually send them to school and fetch them by the time their classes ended. I also help and assist them in their home works, and doing tutorials and sorting their things in preparation for the next school day. I also experienced working from other home since I was newly graduate and unemployed before, I am used to do household chores and baby sitting for a family with babies ages 0-5 years old. I usually do the cooking, feeding kids, helping them with the proper hygiene, watering the plants and feeding dogs and pigs. And the same things goes when I go back home. This au pair program get me interested because I am very passionate about dealing with children, supporting them all throughout their struggles and doing works around children's area. I wanted to extend my help for those host families who are in need of au pairs to help them assist their kids, sorting their things, helping their home works, preparing their meals and doing household chores. Aside from that, I also have a great interest in exploring foreign cultures, cuisines, places and histories because I want to know more than I can read. I love to travel because it allows me to learn and to love other cultures, marvel at beautiful landscapes, and value what I have. These experiences could also help me to create entertaining, engaging learning and teaching once I go back to my home country.
I believe I have the qualities of being a good au pair to a family because I am organize, responsible, lovable, trustworthy and enthusiastic. I am well-mannered person. In fact, at a young age, I was chosen to be the guidance counselor in our school. I realized I have to step up in life because life always begins with one step outside of our comfort zone. Even the smallest changes in our daily routine can create incredible ripple effects that expand our vision of what is possible. So when I heard about Sunshine au pair, I really would like to become an au pair because of the program between host families and the au pairs in the culture exchange system. To my dear future parent, I will do the best that I can to help you enlighten your burden.
