“Dear Host Family,
thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

My name is Lauren and I am 28 years old. I am currently living with my boyfriend who has a job in building slides for Waterparks. I am from South Africa and that is where all my family members currently live except for my sister who is teaching in Cambodia. I have my bachelors in music as well as my diploma in culinary arts.

I have been au pairing for most of my college life and I have loved every minute of it. The youngest kids I lookes after were 2 and 3 and the oldest was 17. My jobs  for the young children would include getting them ready in the morning and dropping them at school. I would then fetch them, feed them, do homework, make  sure they did some physical activities and then bath and bed. The oldest was a little easier as she took care of herself i just had to make sure she was doing all the things she was meant to. I have also taught English to young kids in Cambodia for about 2 years so i got alot of patients, empathy and im great at adapting to new surroundings and situations. I am organized and i communicate really well with kids.

My hobbies include reading, swimming, singing, baking and painting.
