Dear Host Family,
Thank you for taking time to read my letter I am already excited to getting to know you, but first I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Lady Dane and I am 23 years old. I am living with my mother, my 3 siblings and with my dog Mallows and cat Jisoo in Bohol which is one of the beautiful islands of the Philippines. Now I'm seeking a host family to fulfill my dream of being an Au Pair.
In my spare time, I love to sing, play Philippine traditional instrument also, I know how to play a little bit piano. Furthermore, I enjoy reading English books and watching movie. For the past 2 years I teach children and tutor them, I became close to them and cherish the moment we share. I also took care of my niece/nephews and found out that it is fun to be around with the children.
To go abroad as Au Pair has been a desire of mine for several years. I want to get to know the life of European as well as their different cultures. Most importantly, it would be a great chance to spend an entire year taking care of children and see them learn. My calm and patient personality will help to master more difficult situations for instance when the kids are tired or don't want to listen to me. Also, I'm reliable, caring, enthusiastic and friendly person.
Living with me is easy as I am not a demanding person. I do respect that the house is your house and I have followed your house rules. If something works not quite as it should, I prefer to talk instead of ignoring things.
I have never been outside of the country but ever since I was a kid it's been my desire to go abroad. I have learned so much good things about being an Au Pair in a European countries that's way it would be a privileged to be part of your family and I really don't think that I would become homesick.
