Lucy, 24, seeking first time au pair job with a nice family and one child (any age) to help them learn and enjoy the English language and maybe some basic French. Start date to be confirmed - 2021.


My name is Lucy and I am 24 years old. I currently work in a HR department of a Japanese scientific research company in Cambridge, UK. I also have previous experience as a Personal Assistant and part-time nanny.

I have a 1st class degree in Business Management and a qualification in HR Management. I also have a TEFL qualification and have performed 150 hours of study to allow me to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), professionally.

I am married to a Hong Kong citizen who I met at university and have a lovely family living in Hong Kong. I love the country, culture, values and food! and would love to work in Hong Kong for a short period so I can be closer to my family. I would also like to take language classes or live with a family who can help me improve my Cantonese so I can communicate better in Hong Kong.

My personality is friendly, kind, sensible, organised and responsible. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, shopping, travelling and experiencing new cultures.

I would love to join a small family in Hong Kong who can provide me with accommodation and the opportunity to develop my Ianguage skills. In exchange, I will teach their child English in a natural and fun way. I studied French at school, so I can also teach a child basic French language.

I understand that COVID-19 has caused some fear and I want my host family to feel safe. I therefore am flexible on a start date and am willing to wait until it is safer to travel.
