Dear Family,

Thank you for considering going through my profile as I am very excited about getting to know you. My name is Audrey and I am 24 years old. I am originally from Kenya but at the moment I am living with a host family in the Netherlands.

I have had a wonderful experience with au pair program in the Netherlands and I would love to extend my experiences in another country. Being an au pair has given me great opportunities to live in a different country and learn about different cultures. There is still more to be accomplished and I believe that being an au pair in another country will be a great opportunity for me to do that.

I like engaging and interacting with children and enjoy watching them develop their personalities. I have experience in taking care of children of all ages because I have helped in taking care of my half-sisters, several cousins and I have also done voluntary work in a children's scout camp.

My main priority while living with a host family is making sure that the needs of a family are met. I am very reliable and flexible. I also believe that being an au pair is not only an opportunity to explore a new country but also to meet and learn from host families.

In my current host family, I assist in taking care of a 6- year-old boy. I help with preparing his meals, bringing him and picking him up from school, organizing after school activities for him, and tutoring him. Other tasks that I do are light household chores and running errands like grocery shopping for example. I also cook for my host family every once in a while.

I am very fluent in English and have basic knowledge of Dutch which I have been learning during my stay in the Netherlands. I am open-minded and easy to get along with. I enjoy doing arts, reading books, and doing outdoor activities. I am also passionate about traveling, literature, theatre, ceramic sculpture artistry, music, coding, and learning new things. I am also quite diverse, International, well educated, industrious, and reliable.
