Dear Potential Host Family,
My name is Makayla and I hope to be the Au Pair of your dreams! I have a deep love and devotion for education and for nurturing and teaching children of all ages. As your Au Pair, I am able to follow both of these passions while helping your children learn essential skill to be successful in our world today. I am currently an Au Pair in France with a family I adore! I previously work at a daycare where I taught children ages 3-12 phonics and reading skills along with tutoring older children in Lititure and Chemistrty. I also have a plethora of experience babysitting as I have six siblings and over fourteen younger cousins who I babysit for! I spent the majority of my time in high school abroad as I studied abroad in Brazil and France for a year along with three months in Canada. As your Au Pair, I would help your child master the English language in a faster and more proficient way than any language school or tutor could ever achieve awhile creating a fun welcoming environment that your child would thrive and want to learn in. I also am very organized and enjoy cleaning! I have experience in creating custom worksheets and activities that are catered to your children's specific needs and preferences. As a native English speaker, I would provide your child with not only the knowledge of the English language but the cultural context that is essential in fluency and that nonnative speakers cannot provide. My role as an Au Pair would also allow you to spend more time with your children as I would make sure things are always clean and the children are put together and ready for fun! I I am a patient and knowledgeable teacher with a multitude of experiences instructing children young and old.
