My name is Mutheu and I'm from Kenya. I'm 27 and looking to be an Au pair with a nice family that wants to have a patient, creative, loving and active Au pair, that will reliably be there for you and your family. I was hoping to start a little earlier but with the COVID situation, things have had to stall a little but International flights are set to resume starting this August. So considering everything, including the visa applications, earliest I could start is November/December.

My name is Mutheu. My friends call me Tex. I am 27 years old. I live in a small town called Ruiru in Kenya. I am an outspoken, Fun, Friendly person. I have a 22-year-old Brother and 13-year-old sister and 2 Loving parents. Being the first, I have had plenty of first-hand experience in child care, which has taught me values and skills such as Patience, Care, Decision-making, Interpersonal skills among others. I try as much to connect to children, which I have learnt is the best way to communicate with them. This in turn requires a lot of patience, creativity, love, temperance and physical stamina which by far describes my personality. My younger sister threw a lot of tantrums while growing up and I helped take care of her since both my parents are working. I have literally watched her grow into a brilliant young lady, full of such confidence and character. Just the other day we went out shopping for her first pair of heels and a whole lot of her first-time stuff which is such a beautiful experience. For this reason and more I hope to be there as much for your kids. With all this, I have grown to love kids and at every chance I get, I'd love to help care for and mold kids into the great people they are in the meant to be. My hobbies also include outdoor stuff like hiking, travelling, dancing, reading books, cooking (coincidentally I still don't know how to bake ;) so I'm trying learn) meeting and getting to know new people. I'm also really excited at the possibility of skiing in actual snow ;) The Au pair experience would really help with the new language and cultural experience which I am really looking forward to. I love to engage in art at whatever capacity as much as I love to try new outdoor activities. I'm sure we will have so much fun together as I help you nurture your family.
