Au pair from Argentina called Thiago, 22 years old, looking for a job with a lovely family, starting as soon as possible.

Hello future family,
My name is Thiago Chiacchiarini, I am 22 years old and I am from Argentina. I describe myself as an outgoing and fun person who is always willing to help others. I live in Cipolletti, a small city with 90,000 habitants which is located on the north of the Patagonia region next to Neuquén Capital. Neuquén Capital with Cipolletti and Plottier, another city, make up the most important conurbation in the Patagonian region with 400,000 habitants. As you can imagine, my region is the least inhabited in my country, mainly because of the cold, winters are cool with a July mean of 6.0 ºC (42 ºF) and at night temperatures regularly drop below 0º C (32 ºF).
My family consists of my parents, Nancy who is 52 years old and Alejandro who is 56 years old. I have 3 siblings, my brother Dianco who is 31 years old, my sister Ivalú who is 29 years old who has a daughter, my niece Bryanna who is 7 years old and finally my sister Nadja who is 25 years old. My father works as a cold cuts provider for different companies from Buenos Aires and he also has three corner shops in my city. My mom works as an employee for an important optical shop in Neuquén Capital. My brother Dianco is studying for being a law at University. My sister Ivalú works at a well-known bakery in Cipolletti and finally, my sister Nadja is in charge of one of the three corner shops of my father.
About me, I really like languages, that is why I was studying for being an English teacher at University (since 2015) in General Roca, a city which is 40 kilometers away from mine. However, I quit studying this year because I wanted something different in my life so that is why I decided to join this program. But do not get me wrong, I really love my career and once I have finished my job as an Au Pair I will continue my studies. Another thing that I really like is animals, I have a little dog called Sami that was abandoned and my mother and I decided to adopt her. She is the sweetest pet that I have never had, very affectionate and grateful. I am also thinking about adopting a cat because cats are my favourite animals. In my spare time, I like listening to music, my favourite genre is pop in many languages, the main one is Korean but I also listen to pop music in Italian, English and Spanish, among others. Another activity that I enjoy is reading and spending time with my friends and family having a dinner, going out or just having tea or mate, a popular drink in my country.
As regards my work experience, my first one was my niece, Bryanna, whom I took care of when she was 5 years old. As my sister had to work all day, she asked me to take care of my niece in summer when I was on holidays. My responsibilities were to prepare her breakfast, clean her room, help her to bath, take her to her summer camp and take her to her kindergarten at the beginning of March (Month where classes begin in Argentina). I really loved taking care of my niece because we have a strong bond and I really liked creating activities for her and also we really liked spending hour free time together watching tv shows like Gravity Falls, Phineas and Ferb, Gumball, We Are Bears, among others.
My second experience were Matías who was 10 years old and Germán who was 12 years old, they were brothers. My responsibilities were similar to those I had with my niece, I had to prepare their breakfast, take them to school and in the afternoon take them to their activities, they both played tennis and finally take them back to their home. I took care of them for 2 months and I really enjoyed that experience because I had never taken care of two children at the same time but fortunately it was not difficult to me. What I really liked the most about this experience was that as I do not used to watch Tennis matches, they could thought me several things about this sport. Sometimes, you can also learn about anything with children.
My third and last experience was María Paz, she was 4 years old (currently 5 years old) and I took care of her while his father was working. My responsibilities were to wake her up for breakfast, help her to bathe, prepare different and creative activities to entertain her, prepare her lunch and take care of her until her dad comes back home. I really liked taking care of her because she was a very lovely and nice girl, we used to play and dance together with the game called ''Just dance" and also watch different animated films.
In addition to these experiences, I also used to visit my niece's kindergarten with my sister in order to help teachers to create different activities to play with children. Honestly, they were very good experiences. I had a lot of fun with them and I am sure that they also did with me. I like their happiness, innocence, curiosity and transparency.
About my decision to be an Au Pair, I met this program in 2016 thanks to a friend who was an Au Pair in San Antonio, Texas. I was curious about it because I have always wished to do an exchange program but I was not sure about being an Au Pair too at that time because of my studies. Last year, three of my friends from University travelled to America as Au Pairs and encouraged me to do it too and here I am, full of hope and happy to almost get it!
From the program, I hope it meets my expectations helping me to be an independent and responsible person and meeting new people in order to share our cultures. But the most important one is to improve my English so I can achieve my goal once back in Argentina that is to have a degree as an English teacher.
From my future family, I hope we can create a really strong bond and that we have a good time together. I want to be helpful for my future host parents in anything they need help with and also to make a difference for good in children's lives that I will take care of.
My expectations about this year in America are high and I hope yours about me too, I will do my best to not let you down. I hope this letter let you know a lit
