Hello ! My name is Marianne, I'm a french au pair from Bretagne. I'm looking for a serious host family who needs my services.
I would like to start working as an au pair in September if possible.
I don't have a driving license yet but I will take it soon.
I am excited to be able to combine two things that I love: working with children and living in Ireland (my dream). I would love to feel like a member of the family even if I guess it must be a little strange at first.

My personnality:

I care about people's well-being, I'm patient, empathetic and enthusiastic! My family and friends say I'm funny. I don't like disrespect and don't let it go when I am faced with this. I don't give up easily and I quickly get attached to nice people ! I don't like drama and I easily adapt to the lifestyle of others !

In my free time:

I really like reading and listening to music, if I can go out I do it because I like socializing and meeting new people. I love to travel, I have visited several countries such as Egypt, Tunisia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Italy, Hungary. I already came to Ireland in 2016 with a summer camp, I fell in love with this country and decided to come and live there one day.

My experience:

I spent two years training in the personal service sector, where I did several profesionnal internships. I also do baby sitting every other Saturday since March 2018. (I will be in Ireland from March the 21st to April the 17th, 2020 for a charity shop internship).

09/2019-11/2019: worker in a creche _
This internship taught me to communicate better with children. It brought me patience and I was able to accomplish several tasks such as changing diapers, washing children, setting up activities. I really loved this internship.

03/2019-06/2019: service attendant in a nursing home_
This internship allowed me to learn the safety rules for dependent people and the rules of hygiene during the maintenance of a room.

09/2018-12/2018: teaching assistant_
During this internship I supervised activities, I helped the children when needed. I taught them certain rules of hygiene.

Why I want to become an au pair:

Becoming an au pair allows me to live in a foreign country and learn the language, the culture. I have always loved traveling and taking care of children, why not combine the two? It's an opportunity and I'm proud to do it by myself. It is also an experience that will allow me to acquire more autonomy!
