My name is Julia from Barcelona! So excited to belong to a new family and spend great time with your family.
Dear host family, My name is Júlia (female). I'm 18 years olds and I am hoping to spend some months with a family. I've been an AuPair in China (Beijing) this last 6 months. I am from Reus, a small city in Catalonia, near Barcelona (Spain). I come from a family of four: my mother, father, sister and my two dogs. My mum is an English teacher and my dad is an electrician. My sister is an English teacher, too. My sister is twenty-three, she is my best friend. My friends and family describe me as a cheerful and funny person. I always take care of others and I am very polite too. I am finishing my BAT studies, and I would like to spend one year off and learn other languages and about other cultures. My first language is Spanish, but I also speak Catalan and English fluently and a little bit of Chinese. As I said, my mum and my older sister are English teachers so, English has been part of my life since I was a kid. I am also learning Korean and I am very interested in Asian culture. In my free time I like dancing, I do dance quite well, watching TV series, listening to music and spending time with my family. I love animals and learn new languages. I like children and spending time playing with them. I have lots of little cousins and I enjoy having fun with them. When it comes to childcare experience, I have been a dance teacher of young children for two years and the connection I have with them is very beautiful. See their happy faces when they learn how to do a step it is magical. I can help you in many ways, play with your children, help them with their homework and households, bring them to school, and most importantly, make them happy. In the future, I would like to study drama and dancing, I know it is difficult but it is my dream, and I always follow my dreams. I would like to live in an Asian country in the future, that is one of the reasons why I want to do this AuPair, to learn your amazing culture. I think it is interesting we can share our expectations, I can learn of your culture and I can share my culture with you too.
