**I ALREADY LIVE IN LONDON SO I'M HAPPY TO MEET YOU IN PERSON FOR INTERWIEWS**
Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Chiara and I'm a 19 years old Italian girl. I came to London as an au pair last year as soon as I graduated High School to improve my English while taking some time to choose what to study in university. Now that my choice has been made I'm looking forward to finding a new amazing host family from this September!
I consider myself a friendly, funny, easy going, tidy and extremely hard working person. I'm also quite artsy, I love playing my guitar, singing and drawing among other things. My hobbies also include reading, cooking, doing outdoor activities and sports.
The two most relevant aspects of my life are my experiences as a scout, which taught me team working, problem solving and adaptation; and as a volunteer child entertainer, which, in the last six years, provided me with a deep knowledge and practical skills in the field of childcare. I'm also certified in First Aids and CPR which enables me to manage emergencies with a clear mind.
As most sicilian families, mine is quite big, with many uncles and cousins as well as many young children that I deeply love and often take care of. My close family is not that big though, in fact, it consists of only four people: my parents, my younger brother Matteo, and me.
Last year I graduated from Linguistic High School with two different diplomas: the standard italian one and the french ESABAC diploma, proving a B2 level of competence in the study and exposition of both French Literature and History.
I've always loved working with children, in fact, as stated above, I volunteered as children entertainer for 6 years and worked with groups of kids from 5 to 12 years old, organizing music and art laboratories and games. In addition to this, I also have many years of experience as babysitter with children of every age, from newborns up to 13 years old.
Right after my graduation, I came to the UK and started working as an au pair in a Jewish family, which has proven to be a great occasion to know and understand a new culture which is abosolutely different from my upbringing. My au pair experience already taught me so much in just four months, it is helping me discovering new sides of my personality and most importantly, developing new skills in this area.
In order to be able to stay here and begin university next year, I'm looking forward to find a new amazing host family to be part of and work with. My only requests for my future host family are having a schedule that will allow me to both study and take care of your children in the best way possible, good communication between the family and me since it's the key for a great experience, not having any alimentary restrictions and possibly being close to good transport connections. In exchange for that I will try to be the best Au Pair that I can be for your kids and I'm willing to do light housework, some cooking, and driving.
I will gladly provide references from both my boss back in Italy and my current host family upon request.
