British-Italian Nanny from London (English, Italian, French speaking)

Dear brave parents and fabulous kids,

I'm a 25 year old girl from Brussels, with British-Italian nationality and 3 languages under my belt.

I plan on moving to Portland, Oregon in September 2020 to explore new career opportunities in the health/self-care field. However, since this feels like a really big jump into the unknown for me, I thought, what better way to ease myself into this new life than spend some time with a welcoming host family?

I'm am a qualified elementary school teacher in the UK and have been working with children aged 5-9 in London for 3 years +, which means I make a great tutor too! I'm also a qualified Yoga instructor, sing and have taught myself how to play the guitar. I love writing songs and doing arts and crafts, both in my own time and with the kids I've taught. If you're kids are creative, full of expression and musically gifted, they'll be in good hands and so will you (psst, free yoga!).

I'm caring and very clean and tidy - in fact I pride myself on my Monica-from-Friends-style-OCD and will have your house dust free and shining if you require. Despite this attention to cleanliness, I'm actually very easy-going, open and friendly!

I'm looking for ‘Part-time' work because I plan on connecting with a few people in the health/self-care industries while I'm in Portland and would appreciate some time to explore these options on the side of caring for your kids.
