Au pair from France (American and French nationalities) called Malaika, 18, looking for a job with a kind and welcoming family from the 10th of January to the 10th of March.

I am 18 years old and have just graduated high school. I have a double nationality: French and American. I've been travelling ever since I was a little girl living between L.A., Nice, France and Paris, and I am currently living in Nice with my parents and sibling. My sister is 4 years younger than me and I have always taken great care of her, we are very close. I grew up having nannies and I was very close to them, so I've been able to determine what I think is important in assisting children and being a repsonsible member in a household. I would love to discover Hong Kong as my passion for travel has led me to be attracted to this country. Given that I have lived in big cities that are progressive and constantly evolving, I just know that Hong Kong in its entirety would be the ideal place for me. I'm personally interested in the artistic domain as I am an aspiring singer, and I love to draw and write. Later, I would like to study architecture.



I have been making pocket money taking care of the children of my parent's friends, and nieces and nephews of my friends ever since I was 15 years old. I always have been trusted by all the parents whose children I have cared for. I truly have always loved children ever since I was four years old with the birth of my younger sister whom I constantly was taking care of with the help of my nannies. My boyfriend's mother even had placed my babysitting flyers in her beauty salon, because she knew that her clients could entrust me with their children.



Given the bond that I have with my family, learning how to constantly mature into being a respnsible and respectful family member, I'd feel much more reassured and comfortable being in a warm family environment, where I could care for young ones as if they were my own siblings. I also don't have a full time job and cannot afford the expenses that would come with living in Hong Kong on my own. I therefor think being an Au Pair would be the ideal solution for me as, like I've already mentionned above, I adore caring for children and I have a tremendous respect for the bond that families have in a peaceful household. I would love to introduce the children I would care for to any subject that would fascinate them. I was also homeschooled ever since grade 7 and have therefor acquired the competences to aid children with school work as my teachers did with me. I could teach them French and English, as well as mathematics, science, and arts and crafts (drawing, collages, sculpting). I also was training to be a prima ballerina when I was younger, and could therefor even assist children with exercise.
