Dear host family,

My name is Arleen Castillo from the Philippines. I'm 25 years old. Honestly, I've never been an au pair before. I saw a post on Facebook regarding it and researched it. I've always dreamt of traveling abroad unfortunately as a Filipino it is not so easy. Going back about myself. I've always love kids being around me. I helped my cousin and older sister raised their kids. I was their nanny literally. It wasn't easy but it helped me to understand kids more and it also taught me how to be patient. One of my hobbies is to travel locally in the Philippines. I love traveling especially with my mom. I even made a promised to her that we will see the other parts of the world if we will have enough income soon. As for now, my mom is a senior citizen and she can't be part of this au pair program. But since I'm still young and single I would love to be part of this program and will be happy to share my own experiences with her. I'm currently teaching Koreans as of now. It's always fun to know about different cultures and personalities. I get to know more about our differences. I would love to be part of your family and culture if you will allow me to.
