Au pair from Brazil, looking for a nice family in Belgium to start in March!
Dear family,
My name is Leticia. I'm a 23 years old brazilian woman who's currently trying to learn French. I live with my mom and my brother in Sao Paulo, the biggest city in my country.
I am an independent, creative, and spontaneous person. I love to cook and sometimes I try cooking new dishes and sharing it with my family. When I'm not studying or working I like to go out with my friends, try to cook different dishes, read books and dance or anything that is related to music. I also love being with kids and teaching them.
My first experience taking care of a kid outside my family was in January 2015, when I took care of Benício, a cute 1 year old boy. I would help with bathing, feeding, changing diapers and entretaining him.
I have also been a teacher assistant in a bilingual school and later, an English teacher. I worked with kids from 6 to 15 years old. My main task was entretaining them during break times and teaching them.
I helped my sister to take care of my nephew since he was born, he's 5 now and we still play together every weekend. Whenever he is with me I am responsible for cooking and feeding him, bathing and entertaining him. Nowadays I take care of two kids, a 6 years old girl and a 3 years old boy, I usually play with them and teach them a little English. Sometimes I also prepare them food.
In 2015 I was awarded a scholarship to study in South Korea, I lived there for 7 months so I can speak Portuguese, English and Korean.
I have a Red Cross certificate in Child's First Aid and I can swim and ride bicycles. Unfortunately, I don't have a driver's license yet, however, I can provide childcare references and I can cook, this is my main task at home.
I want to be an au pair because I love to be with children and to know different cultures.I want to learn another languages and also get to know your culture and traditions and teach your kids mine. I see this program as a way of opening myself to a new culture and exchanging knowledge with the people around me.
I'm available by the end of March.
Feel free to ask me anything you want to know about me.
Best wishes,
Leticia Rocha.
