British/ Kiwi Nanny/ aupair looking for a lovely family to care for in the Venice region
Dear Family,
My name is Ruthie Sophia Winstanley. I am a 29 year-old (female) available for work as a nanny/aupair. I am originally British but have spent most of my life in New Zealand and have recently relocated to beautiful Italy and live just outside Venice with my partner who is a Venusian mask maker.
I was previously a Naturopath and Medical Herbalist and spent most of my career running a small friendly clinic in Auckland New Zealand in a cute rural town called Titirangi though I have a broad experience in other fields of work too!
I am taking a break from my professional career while I orientate my self to my new life in Italy and I have recently signed up to Italian classes and I am slowly learning this new language. I am fluent in English as it is my mother tongue and would be happy to provide assistance in teaching your children the language should you so wish. I also speak a little Indonesian as I spent a year volunteering there in 2014.
I have spent alot of time around children and am known as the "favourite auntie" to my many neices and nephews and have taken various childcare and care giving roles while in my 6 year stint at university. I have looked after children in their homes in both formal and informal contexts as well as provided after school homework tuition, organizing and taking them to recreational indoor and outdoor activities, singing, dancing, playing games and organising arts and crafts to keep them entertained. I am great at building rapport with all sorts of personalities! I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and their ever interesting stories and watching them grow
I am an active bubbly and positive person who loves la Dolce Vita and I am always open to new adventures and experiences. I love the great outdoors and being a herbalist I am passionate about plants and their ability to help us. I am always making home remedies and would be very open to sharing with you a few of these to enhance your home if you wanted. I love visiting new places and meeting new people. I am a very trustworthy and responsible person.
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-out arrangement as i have a lovely little home just outside venice. I am open to both full and part time opportunities. I am very flexible to accomodate needs of the family, should you need any help with the house work i would be happy to help and pets are no problem. .
