My name is Thato. I am a 22 year-old (female) South African graduate. I currently live in Johannesburg , where I recently completed my undergraduate degree in 2018 and my advanced diploma in accounting science.



My first language is Tshivenda a South African tribal language , and I am also fluent in English. I started learning English since I was born, and it was also the language of instruction in the school I attended. I have in addition been taking courses taught in English at university.
I speak an intermediate level of Afrikaans which is language similar to Dutch spoken in Southern Africa. I begun learning it in high school and have been taking Afrikaans language at school.

I feel that a cultural immersion would do me a lot of good. I have started learning Dutch and German and I use YouTube lessons to help me learn the most basic things but it's easier because of Afrikaans.

As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months or more. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 2 months to 18years. Lastly, although I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have working hours that would allow me to explore the city.
