I've been involved with children from an early age. I started of training them and when I grew older I started babysitting more. I have mostly babysat children from the ages 4-10. I love learning kids new things, such as chess or easy words in a foreign language. In 2018 I went to Morocco to help renovate a school. During this social internship I was in contact with kids of many different ages and a socioeconomic background I wasn't familiar with. It was a very eye opening and great experience.

Dear Sir or Madam,

My name is Philippine, I am 18 years old and I live in Rotterdam (the Netherlands). I graduated secondary school last year and started law at Leiden University earlier this year. However, I soon realised that I wasn't done exploring what the world had to offer me just yet. Although I am determined to study International Business Law the next schoolyear, I would really love to enjoy my gap-year optimally.

I have been involved with children for a long time. I started out as a field hockey trainer when I was 12 and when I grew older I started babysitting more often. I have always enjoyed being around kids, because it gives me the opportunity to be a big sister to someone. That is also why being an au pair is so appealing to me, I really get to be the older sister for a certain amount of time.

I'm a very social and out going person. I love organising and doing different activities. Although I'm not the most athletic person in the world, I love playing sports and being active. I have played field hockey all my life and recently picked up a bit of boxing too. Team sports are very important to me, besides playing a sport you also make a ton of friends. It teaches you how to properly communicate, to take responsibility and to pull through.

I would love to become part of your family for half a year. I'll be available from the end of 2019/start of 2020 until july 2020. If you're looking for a curious, adventurous and trustworthy au pair, then stop looking any further!
