Dear Family, I am Gabriela, I am from Brazil and I am 27 years old. (Depending on when you read I might be 28). My city's name in Brazil is Uberlândia and we have around 700 thousand habitants and it's a good city. I consider myself a happy person, grateful, honest and careful. I would love to find a family that are looking for someone with those qualities and where I can learn with about the culture of the country and have a great experience.
My name is Gabriela. I am from Brazil, I am 27 years old and I graduated in Fashion Design in the middle of 2016 also in Brazil, more specifically in Rio de Janeiro. In Brazil I have a great and supportive family that I love a lot. I will tell you a little bit about them: My father Paulo is 56 yo (a lawyer), my mother Helena is 60 yo (retired teacher), my older sister Tassiana 32 yo (a doctor), Raissa 30 yo (a lawyer), my little half brother Álvaro, only 2 yo and my nieces Maria Vitória and Catarina (2,5 yo and 1,5 yo). I love them all and miss them, but they all understand I must go after my dreams, and one of this dreams is to discovery as much as I can about the world, travel and live amazing experiences.
Some months after I graduate, I went to São Paulo and lived there for around 7 months and then spent 5 months in London to improve my english, and today I can say I have a good level. As I told you, I love travelling, some of the places I've been is Australia (for a month), Malaysia, USA, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, England, Italy and France.
At the moment, I live in France, where I am doing the Au Pair program, I take care of 3 adorable girls. Jeanne (5yo), Louise (7yo) and Clémence (8yo), but I have experience with all the ages.
My routine with the girls consist in wake them up in the morning, take them to school, pick up them to have lunch at home, take them back to school and then finally pick up them and spend time playing with them at the park, library or home. Here, I work Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (5 hours per day).
My experience in France it's being amazing, I really like my Host Family and I love my Host Kids, I know that they feel the same way. We have a very good relationship.
I am interested about fashion, travel, gastronomy and cinema. I like kids and as I said, I have many in my family at the moment and we often Skype to see each other.
In a general way I would describe myself as an easygoing person to deal with, I like to participate of family situations, but I also like to enjoy my own moments and have my freedom. I am a social person, but I like to go out, going to new places, meet new people, make friends, etc. But also I am extremely responsible, I want to be an Au Pair that your family can count on and trust. I am also a honest person, open mind and I value the same things in a Host Family.
I like to cook, I consider I can cook well in my point view, but mostly for basic food. I prefer to always eat healthy, eating legumes, vegetables and proteins. (But sometimes I eat junk food hahaha).
I am an active person, I like to go to the gym, not just to be in shape, but also because for healthy.
I finish my year in France in April 2020, after this time I intend to spend 1 month in Brazil with my family and then start my second year as Au Pair (but I am flexible about it).
In case you are wondering why do I want to do a second year of Au Pair in another place, there's some reasons:
- I like to learn about new cultures
- I've been very interested about Scandinavian countries
- In the future I intend to do a master in Europe so I am "studying" my best options
