Zimbabwean Aupair seeking host family

Dear host family
My name is Valerie Chipwanya and I am a 21 year old Zimbabwean young lady. I live in Waterfalls, a small suburb in the capital Harare.
My first language is Shona and I am also very fluent in English. I started learning English in preschool and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I have a Basic knowledge of German obtained after attending a language school. I am in possession of a German A1 Certificate from Goethe Institute (90%).

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. I have been working as an assistant pre-school teacher for 6 months now as I felt it would be nice having hands on experience taking care of children after I decided to become an Aupair.On top of that my initial experience was very personal as I helped my mother taking care of my little brother who is 4 years old now. This has been the greatest experience ever especially watching him grow. I have learnt to appreciate the company of children over the years as they still see the world in such an innocent view.

When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not bIm een to, and reading a good book. I am also naturally very crafty, I make beaded jewelry and also braid hair including my own. I believe spending the year abroad will be particularly interesting and eye opening for me as to achieve my goals and also be exposed to a world outside of Africa.
