I am a highly motivated, attentive and hardworking twenty year old with a level three qualification in childcare and child psychology and am extending my learning and passion towards caring for children by recently embarking upon my BA(Hons)Childhood Youth and Development Degree. Between my college and degree Education I took just over a year out to travel Europe as a crèche manager between two sister companies Powder Byrne and Worldwide Kids; this is something which has taught me so much about different cultures, caring for children and also gave me a lot of independence! ! I am seeking a full time position in order to enhance my knowledge and understanding alongside assisting a team in providing the highest quality of childcare which is both engaging and enhancing for the children I will be working with. Alongside this I would love to use my position to meet and interact with new people to support and influence the life I have ahead of me. I have over three years experience within the childcare field, both voluntary and paid within a range of settings including nurseries, pre-schools, primary schools and summer holiday kids clubs. I am a caring and conscientious individual and am capable of managing any tasks set for me with the right guidance. I am extremely independent yet I also work well within teams and am comfortable taking on both a supporting or leading role wherever necessary. I am able to follow complex and simple instructions. I am a bubbly character with a passion for helping people and feel that my mix of personality and hard working ethic would be an asset to any family who would be willing to take me on. I have experience within five star settings and therefore their high standards have been instilled within me and are something which I will transfer every working opportunity possible.
I would love to be given the opportunity to show this and therefore would be prepared to undertake an unpaid trial (however if you're willing to pay me that would be great too!!).
I really enjoy travelling, not only seeing all of the beautiful places that the world has to offer, but also learning about their history and immersing myself within their culture in order to understand how different areas of the world live and work. I have a passion for education and also the younger generation and therefore am looking to pursue a career which would enable me to work with younger children and enhance their attitude towards education, essentially, I would like to make learning relevant and fun! At current I try my best to speak basic French and German, however, I am trying to learn these languages in greater depth. I am really creative and enjoy baking and sugar craft, I am also able to play guitar and this is something which I really enjoy to do in my spare time. In addition to this, I love the seaside, I really enjoy long beach walks,boat trips and watersports!
