Dear Family,

taking a Gap Year and having the chance to work abroad, has been a lifelong dream for me.

My name is Emilie Langhans, I'm 18 years old and I can not think of a better way of spending my Gap Year, than this being as an Au Pair.

The opportunity to work with children and at the same time gain new experiences in a complete new city, corresponds exactly to the idea I had of my Gap Year (internship year before the beginning of my studies).

I am absolutely in love with children and feel happier as days go by and I get more and more chances to work around them.

I work as a teacher 3 days a week 2 hours each and help students from all kind of ages to improve at school. My 4 different language knowledge has opened me a lot of doors, when it come to working with families and their children.

Although it is always a little difficult to judge oneself, I believe I am able to describe myself as friendly, patient and responsible human being with good organizational skills.

I had been studying my whole life at a german school here in Marbella, until May 2019, when I graduated. So I have got primary and secondary education, as well as my Abitur (the german type of A-levels).

I'm looking forward to start studying Business, September 2020 in either Germany or the a Netherlands. I would love to have the opportunity to own a company one day.

During numerous jobs as a babysitter or tutor, which I have always enjoyed doing, I could already collect experiences in dealing with children. If you wish, I will gladly try to get references from parents whose children I have looked after.
