Hey! I'm Ivan, a Spanish guy born and raised in the capital of the country, Madrid. I'm an easy-going, cheerful and adventurous person, but mostly I'm a calm, meditative and well-balanced person. I'm positive, trustworthy and caring, and restless to learn new things. I'm productive and I like feeling useful, that's why I like working hard on my projects and I do my best every day to spread my inner smile to the world. I think being an Au Pair abroad is a fantastic opportunity to combine two of the things that I love: travelling and helping people. Taking care of children for families who need it and being part of a caring family in a country that's new and exciting is a rewarding experience to be really grateful for. This allows to really experience the true lifestyle of the country, and also helps with learning faster about the culture and the language.
I'm a graphic designer and an interior designer. I like traditional architecture and I've always liked drawing, modelling and hand-crafting. Apart from that, I love technology and videogames. I want to start working in the gaming industry as a game developer and game designer in the near future.
I love travelling. In fact, I've always had a genuine interest in meeting new people from different countries and cultures all over the world and share experiences with them. In particular, Asia and especially Korea and Japan have always enchanted me with their culture. I also find language-learning fascinating, and I am currently learning Japanese and just getting started with Korean too.
I have a passion for yoga, I've been practicing it for over 10 years and it's a very important part of my life, so I like sharing its benefits around with as many people as I can. I love Nature too and outdoor activities, like trekking, cycling, sightseeing and exploring in general. Food is what I love most, and I really enjoy my time when I cook.
I love animals, and of course apart from that, I love kids. It's natural to me being loving and sensitive to them, so I'm very attentive and usually quite good at keeping them entertained. I can do anything from reading books, playing games, drawing, role-playing, watching films... I'm very patient and I can easily give a helping hand with studying and homework too, as well as sharing my English and Spanish skills.
I've always taken care of my younger sister, and in the past three years I've helped my brother-in-law raise his two kids, so I'm an experienced uncle :) I promise to do my best with your family too and hope to become one more member, so please hit me up for anything you need!
