Nanny/au pair from United States; my name is Madeline and I am 23 years old.

Hello, my name is Madeline and I have just moved to Barcelona in order to learn Spanish, travel, and experience a culture entirely different than my own. I am currently on a student visa, although I do not have to attend classes so my schedule is entirely open for work. Since I was 15 years old I have been taking care of children, giving me 8 years of experience. Before moving to Spain I was a nanny for two girls, 11 and 13 years old, and the older of the two had Autism Spectrum Disorder. This experience has made me much more prepared to work with a child with special needs, and has even taught me a lot about how to work with children in general. She made me much more patient, creative, and able to think on my feet to solve any issues that came up unexpectedly. Since I have worked with children from 4 months to 14 years old, I am comfortable with any age or ability. In August 2018, I graduated with my Bachelor´s of Psychology and Sociology and would love to continue to work with children and their families. Looking forward to hearing from you!
