20 year old currently on break from university, looking for a loving host family
Dear Family,
I am currently in Philippines to settle papers in my home university and I have just Finished my Erasmus Program in Portugal and have been living there for the past six months, I don't think I have enough experience to continue and finish my Fine arts Degree in my home university so I am looking for new things to do for the next few months.
Being an Art student, you can expect me to be able to teach the family, or the child/children about arts (from painting to sculpture and other crafts) and they can expect that I will be a joyful and creative household member.
**if the family is looking for 2 au pairs, i have a friend (male au pair) who also gets along with kids, can drive, do house works, cooks well, very sporty and has a lively personality too that can go with me.
expectations:
-comfortable accommodation, hopefully toiletries are provided if allowance is not that big
-meals provided, kitchen access
-will be treated as a family member not a WORKER
-Good wifi/internet connection because it is important for me to be in contact with family often
-nearby church or church is accessible so I can go every Sunday
-visa, insurance, airfare will be shouldered by the host family,,, but will also consider even if they wont
-will be paid extra when working for extra hours :)
-will support me in studying the language
I am very into arts (painting , sculpture) and performing, singing i like being outdoors and not much on social media, i prefer talking with people personally. I also like to cook, experiment and trying new food.
I have a good knowledge in english since I attended an english speaking school since I was in preschool and grew up in an english speaking country.
I can get an international license, i have been driving for 2 years.
After being an au pair, i hope to continue my studies and keep exploring the world
I used to live with my brother's family, he runs a business and during their business hours, I was there taking care of their child since the baby was 2 years old.
I would like to become an Au Pair because I believe raising kids in a good environment with good influences is very important to have a good society and I wanna help and contribute into building good characters. Also, as an artist who craves for new inspiration based on experiences, i think this is a great opportunity to have exposure to one's nation and be truly involved in the culture. I lived with a Portuguese family for 3 months and I really enjoyed learning the specific culture of a Portuguese family, I strongly believe that being a tourist is not enough to be introduced in a new culture, for people to be able to fully immerse themselves in a new world, they should at least experience how to be part of a foreign family.
