Au pair from USA called Rhiannon, 23, looking for a job with a nice family, starting from 1 September!
Dear Family,
First let me introduce myself. My name is Rhiannon and I am 23. I studied Economics at University. I live in Washington, DC, the nation's capitol. I like horse riding, singing, reading, and going for walks in nature.
I am looking to begin September 2019. I am hoping to find long term work abroad afterward. I would prefer if you have no more than 2 children to take care of.
One more thing about me - I am vegetarian (but I do eat fish). Please let me know of this would work with your family.
When at home, I help my mother with the cooking and housework. I worked as a teacher's assistant for 6 months. I helped children learn English and maths. These children were from Latin America and they did not speak very good English. They were aged 14-17. I liked helping them with their English and seeing how their skills improved over time.
I really enjoy travel. I am fluent in French, and I spent a semester doing study abroad in Paris during my time at University. I loved it. I lived with a French host family and I had a host sister and host brother who were around my age, who showed me around.
I would like to be an au pair, as I enjoy working with children and travel. I would also like to meet new friends, and be more responsible and independent.
I am looking forward to learning all about your country and I would like to become a part of your family.
Best,
Rhiannon
