Au Pair from the USA looking to work in Europe from May-August 2020!

Letter to the family
Dear Host Family,

I am so excited to meet you! I have been hoping to become an au pair for a while now. I love to travel and experience new cultures, as well as share what life is like living in Iowa with others. I am hoping to become a member of your family and to be a big sister to your children! I am able to help with the children, any pets, and do light housework. I do not cook very well, just to say. To me, being an au pair will be a way to fully immerse myself into a new culture, to meet new people, and to help with children and teach them English. I am studying English at a university in Michigan and I love to find new creative ways to help children practice speaking English.

I do wish to be able to travel on the weekends either with your family or on my own. It is important for me to explore new places and see as much as possible. Europe is such a beautiful place and I wish to learn more.

Previously I have lived with a family in the Netherlands for a month on a cultural exchange. I loved the experience greatly and am hoping to have another experience with a new family. I am available for the entire American summer season. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
