Léa, 20, nanny/au pair looking to work with a great family, starting from 1 September
Hello!
I am Léa and will be 21 years old in September.
You may want to know a little more about myself! Always positive and enthusiastic, I constantly try to stay active and dynamic. I love to dance, laugh, travel and have fun in any situation. I also enjoy having deep discussions and creating true friendships.
When taking care of children, I try to build a real connection with them: spending time with kids always makes me want to learn to know them better and share each other's interests. This is why every single activity such as dancing, singing, talking, reading, drawing or swimming together is truly important to me. I genuinely feel that being part of a family for many months will surely create something special that will last for a lifetime!
As for you, you can expect to get an au pair willing to help as much as she can! Indeed, I will take care of your children, but I would be also happy to help with anything else such as housekeeping and pet care. Do not hesitate to tell me about particular chores, activities or any other services that you may need me to do!
I can affirm that I currently have approximately 500 hours of childcare experience.
I first had the great opportunity to spend my 2016 summer in Halifax (Nova Scotia, Canada), where I was an au pair in the family with 4, 6 and 8 year's old girls. I enjoyed so much these 6 weeks that I am coming back this summer.
When taking care of them, I do multiple activities such as:
- Taking them to tennis and swimming lessons
- Playing with them in the swimming pool, lake, beach, etc.
- Drawing, doing DIY activities, doing pillow fights, making crêpes, having dance and singing sessions, etc.
I genuinely had a lot of fun with these three little girls, while making sure they had everything they needed and keeping them totally safe. A real trust relation was created between their parents and me: they knew that their children were in good hands during the entire day.
Having a small brother of 7 years old also helped me to learn how to babysit a small child from a few months to his actual age. When our parents took their day or nights off, I took care of my little brother by feeding him, changing his diapers, putting him to sleep and looking after him. Of course, we played a lot, read stories and enjoyed our time together!
