Au pair from Philippines, 25, at your service, willing to start ASAP :)

Being a mom to my sister taught me a lot. It taught me to be patient when she'd had her tantrums, dedication as taking care of her matters most more than anything, genuine love in seeing her threw a giggle for a simple toy or tickles, and when she's sick, I learned the word sacrifice, for not almost having sleep, 24/7 monitoring her condition, and became a responsible person by bringing her on my own to the health center to have her vaccinations.

All this, I learned at the age of 16.
And because of this experience, I became closer to children and puts them the largest part in my heart.

Hello! How are you?
I hope this letter finds you and your family in best well-being.

I would like to formally introduce myself.
My name is Mishelle, 25 yrs old as of writing (my birthday is coming, yey) and currently lives in the Philippines. I live alone for a year now in my own apartment but I used to stay with my parents. My father (47) works as freelance painter and my mother as school staff in a nursery school for more than a decade now. Yes, kids! What an amazing childhood it was. I have five (5) siblings. My big bro is 28years old and our youngest, Cherry Ann is 8 years old. (she just had her birthday, happy birthday baby! HAHA). We have three dogs at home. We used to have rabbit, pig, turkey also.

I graduated from college last October 2017 and since then, I work as Medical Librarian catering to various nationalities like Thai, Indians, Koreans, and Filipinos until now. But even before graduating, I have taken numerous jobs already while studying. I became an office assistant, assistant archivist, did I mention I was a working scholar too?

College days was never been fun. Together with my friends, we would conduct an outreach program for the kids who live in the slum area. We create a program on our own and taught them the basics of good manners and right conduct, as a reward we give them school supplies and at the end of the activity, we provide snacks, all from our own money.

I wanted to become an au pair to experience life outside Philippines. The opportunity to be introduced and exchange cultures will surely be amazing! And since I love to take care of kids, I hope we can get along together well. I stand by the following virtues: honesty, loyalty, compassion, respect, reliability, and responsibility.

I am not the kind of woman who sits and let life happens.
Let's just say, I'm a simple woman with big dreams. And one of them is to travel the world.
During my free time, when I was at home, after doing my sisters, cousins, and sometimes neighbors' assignments (yes, they come to ask for help – kids assignments only nothing serious like calculus HAHA) I read. Every weekend, most of the kids would impatiently wait for me to teach them how ride a bike, and for those too little, I carry them with me on the bike.
Now that I live on my own, I usually spend my time doing workouts, read, and attend classes about financial lectures.

Please always feel free to contact me. You are welcome.
(I hope I didn't bore you with my long passage).

Thank you for reading!
With kind regards,

Mishelle C.
