ABOUT ME -
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. My name is Laura, I'm 25 and English, from a small town called Cannock. I have 4 years experience as a manager within the care sector. This involved travelling to care users homes and helping them with shopping, cleaning, cooking, medication, personal care and generally providing support and friendship.
I also have many years experience offering care within my day to day life as have a very large family (24 cousins and 52 2nd cousins!). I often take care of my family as well as my friends children, I do not have any of my own yet.
I also have experience with animals. My mum has been a dog breeder for the last 40 years of her life, either breeding cockerspaniels or beagles. She also takes part in competitions which she is very passionate about. Our doggies are walked regularly, played with, and are shown the upmost amount of love and affection too. We have between 7 dog and 12 puppies at a time. I'm very much used to cleaning up the doggy play pens and runs, exercising, playing, feeding and just generally keeping the dogs company. The dogs are seen as family, not just a pet. Which is the way I would also look at any one elses pet. I have 2 cats of my own which I love very much. As I live with my mother, she is happy to look after them whilst I am away from home.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR -
I love meeting new people and travelling so decided to search for a family which is seeking an Au Pair. I'm am looking for a family which can provide accommodation. I am looking to become part of a family, this role means much more to me than getting paid. I would love to learn about the family, culture, country and make friends for life. I'm a very pro-active and fun person who loves laughing and seeing people smile. I love children and making a positive impact on lives. I would like to find a family which also enjoys life and appreciates laughter. I make a lot of jokes, so a family with a good sense of humor would be great. Ideally the family would have 1 or 2 children. It would be ideal if the family had a car which I could use (I drive manual and automatic) as I would love to explore and take the children with me. However I do not mind walking at all, I enjoy the exercise.
