I am an AU Pair called Robert, 18 (male). I am looking for a job with an active healthy family. I'm hoping to experience different cultures and wanted to do this to see what its like growing up around the world. Hopefully I can start as early as the 1st of August this year. I would like to finish sometime next year depending when I start.
Dear host families,
My name is Robert. I am and 18 year old male who has recently finished high school in 2018. I come from a family of 6. 3 amazing sister ages 11, 20 and 22. A loving mum and dad also living with my gran most of my life. My sisters all are in the teaching industry following my dads foot steps (Sport and out door ed teacher). My mother is in administration for our local GP. I love being on my feet which could mean running, cycling, swimming, archery, yoga, pole fitness, hiking or kayaking. I also have passion for food and cooking that i discovered when i wanted to change my lifestyle. I also love hanging out with friends and meeting new people. There aren't many things i dislike. I don't like tension and unresolved issues that fester away but other that I love most things or keep peace to watch others enjoy that experience. I want to be an Au pair as i would love to travel and not just see place but live its culture. I have had a lot of child care experiences from my extended family, baby sitting my family friends children, working at Bunnings (where i am in charge of Kids DIYs and Store vibe) and Surf life saving. I new I wanted to do something with kids when I was on a run at Easter and i ran past a little girl choking. The girl was choking on a plastic Easter egg. The parents were in shock and I ran and got the egg out by firmly smacking her to dislodge it. the girl was fine and the family was very thankful. Ever since then i wanted to help children as it reminded me of all my sisters and niece. I can help my future host family but bring a positive vibe, contributing to cleaning/cooking and most importantly help with the kids. I'm looking forward to seeing new places not as a tourist but as family member of people living there. I hope in the future to be a teaching aid, life guard, swim instructor, even organisation and out door ed tourism guide.
