Hello, Future Host Family! My name is Christine and I am 21 years old. I come from the Philippines, a beautiful, tropical country in Southeast Asia. Recently, I graduated last June 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences and I wish to spend my first year as a graduate in a different country to immerse myself in a new culture, broaden my German language skills and challenge myself to grow as a person.
I have childcare experience from college where I had to teach kids English so they can develop their reading and speaking skills in this language. I also was a volunteer in a yoga organization where we do outreach program for out-of-school youths. During my time as a volunteer, I was able to spend a lot of time nursing and playing with them. I am willing to learn any skills that would be required for the job. I hope to find a welcoming and loving family who I can be a part of for the duration of my stay.
I am a very reliable, friendly and caring person. I have a genuine love for caring of kids. Generally, I get along well with them. I will play with them, help them get through their day, making sure they are loved. I am fluent in English, Filipino and can speak a little bit of German. I also would love to help around the house by doing house chores. I hope to be working with you and your beautiful kid/s and be part of your lovely family soon! :)
