My name is Ilona. I am a 26 year-old (female), Indonesian. I currently live in Bali, Indonesia and working in Citadines Kuta Beach Bali Hotel as a Guest Service Officer since October 2015.
I come from a family of 4: My Dad passed away 3 years ago. My Mom is a housewife, live in Jakarta with my little sister Krystle. She's working as a Counseling Teacher in a Junior High School. My brother, Fritz has been married and now he is living and working in Madrid-Spain,
My first language is, of course, Bahasa Indonesia, and I am also fluent in English.
I speak an intermediate level of Chinese. I begun learning it in high school and have been taking Chinese language classes at my university. And I've been studying abroad to Guilin China, took a 1,5 years Chinese course, almost 5 years ago. I really enjoyed living abroad and gaining more friends and experiences.
When it comes to child care experience, honestly I have no formal experience yet. But I used to baby sitting my friend's children and also play together with my niece and nephews. We're used to play on the beach, swim, read books and listen to musics. I love kids! Who doesn't ;)
When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. Sometimes I love to enjoy some me time in my room. However, I also enjoy being outdoors with my friends, going for walks, laying on the beach, visiting places I have not been to, and listening to musics.
As far as preferences are concerned, I am looking for a live-in arrangement with a host family, that would be happy to have me stay with and work for them for at least 6 months. I would also prefer looking after children aged between 1 year to 13 years. Last, although I am quite flexible, I would prefer to have working hours that would allow me to attend Dutch classes.
In mid of June 2019, I will visit Netherlands with my family to visit some of my good friends that I met during my education (in China). I also have my Aunty and Oom live in Zoetermeer, My best friend recently immigrated to the Netherlands. I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the au pair arrangement.
