Dear Family,

My name is Masha and I am writing to introduce myself and to tell you why I would like to be an au pair and why you should choose me.

My full name is Mariya, but everyone calls me Masha. I am 23 and I currently live in Boston. I was born and raised in Ukraine and that's where my parent and my sister still live but I have moved to the USA five years ago for college. I received my Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and German last year and I am currently working for an education non-profit in Boston.

I grew up in a small town in the northeast of Ukraine. My family consists of 4 people: my mother, my father, my sister and me. My sister's name is Ksusha, she's 14 years old and she's in her first year of high school. Sometimes we argue but usually, we all get on well and we help each other.

So what am I like? Well, I always try to be friendly and helpful to other people and I grew up with very important values. For instance, I know that education is the main thing, but also kindness and respect. I'm a flexible, polite and sometimes sassy. I am a creative and ambitious young woman with lots of dreams and aspirations. I have a lot of hobbies and interests: I have been on a team for competitive swimming all the way through high school but had to quit when I moved to the US. In addition to this, I love spending time outside, doing yoga, and cook for my family and friends.
