Jemima; fun and friendly student from England, 19, hoping to start in May

I am a student at the University of Edinburgh studying Economics, Politics and Arabic. My family and three younger brothers are originally from Devon. My parents both worked full time when I grew up so we often had au pairs living with us; I completely understand what it is like to both require some extra help around the home and be looked after by a child minder! Where I live in the countryside we are surrounded by animals and I love the outdoors but am equally happy in the buzz of a large city (we used to live in London when I was younger). At University I currently work part time as a nanny to three children; I help look after the youngest girl, a four year old, after nursery and help the older two with homework after school. I have experience in childcare ranging from working in my local primary to a summer spent in one of Nairobi's poorest orphanages where I was part of a team looking after 60 children under the age of two. I have also spent a season as a chalet host so am a competent cook! I am friendly, responsible and reliable and love working with children. I enjoy ballet and tennis in my free time.
