Hello family!! My name is Mafer and I'm really excited to meet you. I'm from Guatemala and my native language is Spanish but I graduated from an American school so I'm very fluent in English too.

I'm a funny, outgoing 23 year old girl who loves to meet new people, make new friends and experience different cultures. I just finished my basic science area of Med school, and I've decided to take a break and focus on new things before entering my clinical phase. My dream is to become a succesfull pediatrician because I really love children, and taking care of people. I love to spend time with my family (which is pretty big and close) so I have a lot of experience taking care of all of my nephews and neeces. I am very close with my sister, who is my best friend, and we share everything together since I'm only one year older. I also have the cutest crazy little puppy called Khaleesi (yeah we're HUGE Game Of Thrones fans) who I looooooveee very much, she's like my baby, and I loove spending time with her so probably being away from her is going to be the hardest thing for me while I'm up there with you; but I will get over it with a lot of love and hugs jajajaja.

I want to be an au pair to experience a new culture, gain a new cozy family, make new friends and meet new places. I would also like to be able to take a little bit of my country and my culture with me, to my new house and make an incredible bond that would teach both ends a lot of new lessons and values.
