I am a young, enthusiastic 22 year old who lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I have recently graduated from a degree in Primary education from Northumbria University in Newcastle, England. I then went on to study an MSc in Autistic Spectrum Disorders at Queens University Belfast. I am creative and energetic, which is why I strive everyday in my current post teaching a Primary One class (4/5year olds). Therefore I am available to provide some English tutoring (eg phonics etc) if this is something the host family would be interested in!
I have a keen love for travelling and learning of different cultures. I feel becoming an au pair will fully immerse me within a range of different cultures and lifestyles!! I have previously lived and studied in Belgium and travelled around many other places for pleasure including Italy, Croatia, Spain and Greece.
I can guarantee you I will provide your children with the best care expected along with fun and exciting experiences whether they are devised through play activities I have designed or trips around local attractions. I have huge love of the arts and love creating new things through many mediums of craft, drama and music. I enjoy staying healthy throug daily gym routines and sports including netball and swimming. But most of all I am a keen horse rider and have been since a young age. I am happy to care for children of all ages as I have relative teaching experience across the primary age and youth project groups of children older than primary ages. I have been involved in tutoring of Italian students who lived in Northern Ireland for 3 weeks during the Summer period in 2016.
I have a clean criminal record and driving license with nearly 5 years experience. Therefore I am willing to chauffeur if there is a car available.
I am also trained in Paediatric First Aid, use of Epi-pens, CPR and Defib.
