Au Pair/Nanny from Chesham, Buckinghamshire looking for a job with a family close by to start asap.

I am an organised, reliable person. I am prompt, hardworking, and put a great deal of effort into any challenges that I undertake. I have a decent set of GCSE results including passes in Maths and English. My written and spoken English is of a high standard, and I am good at communicating and conversing with others, both professionally and personally.
I am a keen musician, and have reached grade 8 in violin and grade 6 in singing. I have previously played with the National Children's Orchestra, as well as performing for the Prime Minister and continue to play violin alone and with groups of friends. In the summer of 2013 I spent three weeks in Namibia, South Africa, teaching at a junior school in a small village, as part of Schools Worldwide organisation. I also have a keen interest in writing and I am hoping to spend time working in different countries to gain experience in different cultures.

I have a genuine interest in the well-being of children and I get immense job satisfaction from being able to be a positive influence on their lives. Moreover, I take an understanding in how important this role is for parents, such as yourselves, as they are placing their trust in me to be responsible for their children. Therefore, I take great pride in the service I provide. Due to my passion for this area of work, I am incredibly attentive and do not get stressed with the children due to my patient and calm demeanour.

I am a mature, young individual who is able to handle the energetic and inquisitive nature of young children. I have previously proven this through working as an Au Pair for a period of 6 months at the end of 2015/2016. During this, I lived with the host family for the duration of my employment. I was responsible for the day-to-day care of 3 children aged 2, 7 and 9 years.
Alongside looking after the children I also took duty of housekeeping. Some of these tasks were as follows: Getting the children out of bed and prepared for school, including breakfast. Secondly, taking the children to and from school and coordinating any after-school activities such as sport clubs, music and dance lessons. Furthermore, I also purchased the household shopping, occasionally prepared evening meals for the children whilst maintaining high standard of hygiene. In addition, I maintained a clean house, with a fastidious eye for detail, and attended to tasks including the children's laundry and ironing. Finally, i would get the children to bed at a consistent time and in a prompt manor.
I also worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school for 6 months. Personally, this was a very rewarding job and has also fuelled my passion to continue working with children.
