Dear host family, here in my letter I would like to write some information about myself. I heard about this program a lot of things, but I never took a part in similar projects. Now I feel it's time for me to try myself to being an AuPair. I give a challenge to myself and I have no doubts, what I will have a good experience.
From project I expect new contacts, working experience abroad, improving English skills and a lot of traveling.
First of all, I have interest to children. I'm this person, who really like to oversee how children think, behave, grow, communicate, play. And I like to ask myself, why does child do this or that? We are all came from childhood and some of us forgot it. I try to remember my childhood and what help me to communicate and understand small person.
Second, of course I would like to improve my English skills. In my country there is not a lot of people who speak in English with whom I can practice it. Better way to improve language is to be in country, where it's a mother tongue.
Thirdly, it's very interesting and fully new page in my life. I really in love with traveling and this program fully gives this opportunity.
Why I decided to be an AuPair? I'm not going to describe, that I like children, because it is logical. If I don't like them, I didn't apply for this program. For me it's very exciting to spend time with kids. Every spent time I opened for myself something new and they help me to be more lively. Why you need to choose me? I'm young, I have a lot of energy to stay with children. I'm very positive and bring my good energy to all of people with whom I talk. I'm open for new experience and I have no doubts, what all that I do makes me and other persons happyest. I try to be for you child not nanny, but first of all a friend! Who take care, listen, give some support and just spend good time together.
In my time I'm babysitting with my cousin. We have a difference in 14 age, despite this we always found common interests. Fortunately we lived in one town and pretty closer to each other. Until my cousin was 8 years we spend a lot of time together, because now he live in another country. The most memorable moment were, than I taught him to ride a bicycle. He tried a lot of time, he was upset, cry, angry, nervous, but one time he did it!!! for me it was a really big and memorial day! Now a lot of my friends have his own children. When I'm visiting them I always pay attention on child. Sometimes they ask me to stay with his children, but it's just some of hours. We always have some fun and I try to open something new for child. It's always nice that you are useful for someone. Always depends of child, how he spend his free time. Some of them like walking, explore something new. Another kids likes, when adults tell some stories and read a books. I'm very well contact with children and always can offer various interests.
I'm very active person, I do sport cross country skiing, mountain skiing, cycling, rollerskating, hiking. Your child will never bored with me! I also like animals. My parents have a dachshund, it's name Ricky. I'm really in love with Ricky boy cowboy. Also I like to read a books. Last book, which I read named A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess, starting to read Shantaram 2 part.
Trying to have a healthy lifestyle. Eat porridge/omlette in the morning. Really in love with soups, also making it. Love some fresh salads. Not a big coffe lover, mostly prefer cocao or green tea. Don't eat junk food, but sometimes I can have some slice of pizza/ chocolate. I think could eat all, but just need to limit it in amount.
I really in love with travelling. I believe, that in my life I'll see and visit a lot of beautiful places. Also I'm in love with mountains. I was in north Italy, Alphs, in Georia and in Montenegro. My dream is, that I want to live near by mountains and sea. To see that beautiful view every day, it's really worth it.
I guess for reaching good relationships with family the most important is communication. If some one don't like something, we need to talk about it straight away. Also I think, people always can find alternative variants. My opinion, every problem could be solved.
The best way to all be happy it's create a schedule which AuPair will follow. From my previous experience it's most needed part at the beginning. Mostly with all small details, starts what child eat for breakfast and finish with that socks he will wear on his tennis lessons (for example). For AuPair it's will be easier to remmeber at beginning, then all is new and get used to day schedule.
My politics is that, instead of sitting in phone/computer child should more stay outside walk, be active, read a books, be with his friends, communicate with people, drawing, creating something, have some sport. I think it's a best way to have a normal active child. Without an ipads and tv is also imposdible, but should be some limitation or for ecample using only on weekends or for half an hour during the day. Also should be a day regime, which child will follow.
Most prefer the school children and family up to 3 kids. Not a country side.
After AuPair I would like to travel 1 month and after come back to home. I already have a plan, what I'm gonna do after, but about my plan we can talk tete-a-tete. To reach my goal I need improve my English.
In some time I'll receive a SSC and American driving license. In my country I had an experience only on manual cars, but in America I was driven on automatic.
Ready to start as soon as possible! Really be happy to help with children and be part of your family.
