Hi host family!

My name is Jodian Downs, I am 21 years old and I am from Jamaica. I have a Bachelor degree in Literatures in English and Film and I am an Elementary school English Teacher and a visual and performing Artist. I have almost 4 years of experience teaching and working with kids. In Jamaica, my grandmother owns a preparatory school and so I have been teaching assisting there and helping her with lesson plans from a very young age.

I am a spiritual person, so I practice yoga and meditation every day to keep my mind and body in harmony. I love art, languages and I love children. I love learning from them and I love being a part of all the spaces they occupy because it is often filled with such curious, light and interesting things.

I travel a lot and I have lived and taught English abroad before; Turks and Caicos Islands, Colombia and the United States if America.

I love all soft and wild things :)
